Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me out with where to buy day old hubbards, or perhaps another good meat bird (suggestions accepted I'm new to this side of things). I would also like a couple of norfolk black turkey hens. I have a lonley stag who needs a lady (or two) in his life!!! I,m in Cambridgshire.....so somewhere not to, to, far away if pos!!!  ::)  Thanks

hi there

I am presently looking at this website for poultry as I am looking for Wheaton Maran's and the nearest place I have found is Wales, which is a bit far for me.  I have also been trying to find Norfolks and the nearest to me is in Hull - I found these on ebay and emailed him so hopefully this should be ok.  I look at all sorts on there - not necessarily to buy off there but sometimes to find someone near to me to email for whether they sell outside ebay.

Good Luck in your hunt .

Try pouletanglais Simon Skinner for Hubbards. If you can't find a contact, I've got it somewhere.

Hi Tweedy

Whereabouts in Cambs are you?  how many day olds would you want?  i'm in St Ives and i really want to get some day old hubbards too, and contacted poulet (simon) on another site and he said his minimum order he's gone down to in the past was 24 - too many for me as a first attempt at meat birds - but i could split 50-50 with you if you are interested?  Let me know if interested!

thanks L
