Hello Sunnybank.

As Hilarysmum says there's loads of stuff already in the sheep forum, and if you've got any questions that remain unanswered just ask - someone will know the answer, and the only stupid questions are the ones we don't ask.  :D

Hello from Clackmannan, now I have put one of my most flattering photos as I usualy resemble one of those sea side land lady photos, curlers, fat belly, sloppy tights and all!! I am a land lady BUT do not have a spotty dress!! (or do I?) Keep some chickens as my Ducks kept waking up the old man, so they went to a lovely new home but I am left with a huge pond!!!!!!! and I am suppose to be cleaning  :'(

Hi Sunnybank, and welcome!!

Dan - I definitely preferred the demented hat wearing hippy look, but it's nice to see that Rosemary is so supportive ;).

Sandy - Ever thought about getting some nice quiet ("Quackless") muscovies?

Arh, quiet Ducks, our Lilly was like a non stop record when she saw anyone, I was worried as the neighbours backing on to us are nearer to them than us...I did love them, mind you Charlie loved the Chickens in all the wrong ways!!!!

Oh, I miss my so-ugly-they're-beautiful Muscovies!  The girls trill softly to you, the boy may hiss quietly, under his breath, if you worry him.  And beeeeaaauuuutiful eggs, none better.  And spare boys do taste good.  :yum:

Welcome Sunnybank    We farm beef & sheep in north Cumbria, I am a closet smallholder on the side - house cow & calves, pig (in pig - yay!) and native ponies.
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
