hi,i keep a small amount of livestock in blidworth and was wondering if there were any local peeps who fancied getting together at each others fields/smallholds once a month or so taking it in turns,to chat,maybe BBQ (weather permitting) or even better,meet in a local pub and share stories and experiences with people who have stuff in common?? just a thought, i dont mind organizing once a month as i know we're all busy...!!
but would be nice to meet like minded couples or singles of any age...im married,no kids and 28,hubby 38 and we have pigs,lambs,goats,ponies and poultry!

anyone for it??

hi we're in denby village (between the 2 of you)
love to catch up with all etc
we are in our 40's have 2 grown up kids (left home so we moved and got the animals we always wanted!! )
we have 3 grandchildren!
currently have 6 pigs (off on monday)
chicken layers and some meat birds
turkeys.... 5 hens and one stag ...... and have hatched 13 poults

so far so good!   ,I'll keep this running for a few more days and see if anyone else chimes in then i'll try and organise a meet somewhere in middle of us all. if your in the middle 'manian' then could meet at yours or at a pub near you,im sure we'll find somewhere we can all get a postcode for to travel to!i'd be lost without the satnav!! speak soon........

I'm near Clumber Park. I have 10 goats at the moment and a horse out on permament loan  We had a few disagreements and decided it was for the best..

I would LOVE to meet up, two heads are better than one and all that!

Just let me know. I can't host as the farm I keep the goats on isn't mine but there are plenty of pubs!

your welcome to come! it looks as if it may have turned into a bbq at manians all being well with the weather! just let us know by next monday so we can organise it and look at the weather for that week...then i'll sort with manian to they're ok with numbers!!

we had a great time!! lovely grub at manians local and a quick nosey round their lovely plot..

we will have to come up to you soon little blue when it suits you? definatly will continue to get around and meet up with everyone,
