Tell me about it! I did a short piece yesterday about our community farm which went fine (I think - its not gone out yet so we'll have to wait a bit for a final verdict) and they phoned again today to ask me to talk about our church's rethatching project tomorrow!

Yes, we used to live in Tobermory where they filmed most of it.

My son is the only one that had a solo singing part :)

Wow, what a load of celebs, I  had a phone call from Location Location Location and the Beeb asked to use one of my photos for a programme about Scotland, the programme was not shown in UK!

I was on TV when I was about 7, period costume walking down a hay field, back view  ::) :D
Then I was on again about 20 years ago talking about New Zealand flatworms on some channel 4 gardening prog - they didn't tell me where to look so I came across as really shifty  ;D ;D ;D  I worked in a childrens ward at that time and they ALL watched - and laughed of course  :D :D  I was presented with an engraved trowel  ::)
Nowadays, they seem to pounce on my OH at the Highland Show each year for sound bites, but not me - wonder why not  ;D ;D ;D ???  I just about choked on my words for nerves with the flatworm thing so I'm glad I'm no longer tv material  :)

Good luck with it plums and we will all be glued to our screens  .

i lived in africa when i was a wee girl and we had a programme made about us...the whole relocating family from uk to africa thing.  i was too wee to know much about what was happening and my mum says i just chatted to everyone (nothing new there then!!).

then there were budget cuts and it was never shown!!!

we've tried to locate it since but it was 40+ years ago now so suspect it will be well binned by now.

That would be so emotional to see that film egglady, I too would love to see a film about a 6th cousin who lived and wrote about Inuit life, it was CLiff Mitchalmore and it was in the 70's, he reminds me sooo much of a nutty uncle!! Just looking at an old film of my wedding to my ex in 72 was interesting, just to see shops, fashion and the people I had not noticed on the day!!!!

I was on a programme all about the West Midlands Air Ambulance I went to meet the crew at Cosford who had revivied me and helped to get me out of the car I was trapped in. It was nice to find out that the paramedic who revived me was in fact very good looking....shame I was unconscious at the time.

It was a fantastic experience a chance to say a big thank you.
