New blue bins for clacks

not sure if you saw it this week local paper but clacks is looking tobe giving out the big blue bins next month here is a link to website

wha you can uses the blue bins for   
* paper including newspapers, magazines, telephone directories and yellow pages
    * clear and coloured plastic bottles
    * food tins and drinks cans, including aerosol cans
    * all types of cardboard
    * drinks cartons and tetrapak cartons
    * mixed plastic packaging including food trays

blue box for
keep your blue box and use it for:

    * glass
    * textiles
    * small electrical items that fit into your blue box, but televisions are not allowed. Please note larger electrical items such as a cooker or fridge will still require to be taken to Forthbank Recycling Centre or you can arrange a bulky uplift.
    * batteries

brown bin for

You still need this for plant waste such as:

    * grass cuttings
    * hedge prunings
    * cut flowers
    * weeds
    * leaves
    * woodshavings

Hello! I will get myself confused again, I hate sorting out guests rubbish!!!!

you can always set up a sign with pictures which am think am gona do in this house, As i was trying to explain to hubby all the different bits for bins and he was getting confused  but am really happy that they are gna start taking tetra pack as being a soya and orange juice drinker i have lot of these which i store up and ever couple of months take to the tip.

This is great. I hate putting tetrapak in the bin.

the tetra pak can be put in the local tip near the cloth bin
