that time again where is the best place to vaccinate looking for any advice how to do it cheers

If it's subcutaneous, I find it easiest in the side of the neck.

I suspect a lot depends on breed, your handling facilities and how tame they are.  Personally, when vaccinating a pen-full (or several) I find it easiest behind the shoulder.

For adult sheep and subcutaneous injections probably easiest in front of the shoulder although behind the shoulder over the ribs is fine, but I guess at this time of year you might be vaccinating lambs.- Being smaller it is probably easiest over the ribs, and always a good idea to get someone to hold them.

Go carefull doing it in the neck, if they have a reaction to it and forms a lump the vets get a bit jumpy and can mistaken it for another disease Caseous lymphadenitis, I always go for behind the shoulder or over ribs too

thanks for the advice does anyone use the automatic vaccinatoe or is syringe the best

I use a needle and syringe, but I guess it depends how many you have to do. If you have a lot to do then the automatic injectors are quite handy.

You should aim to do it high in the neck as anywhere else can spoil a perfectly good carcass if they have a reaction to it or get an aforementioned lump forming. 

I use an auto injector as it requires less hands and more freedom to catch and hold the sheep
