hi all, i have just about had enough of having to fill up our 5l poultry drinker once sometimes twice a day as sometimes i am out and am unable to refill  :( so have decided to buy a 30l tripod drinker, just wandering if anyone has one and what they make of it? also i saw some cider vinegar and cider vinegar with garlic, is the extra £2.50 worth paying for the added garlic? is it as good for them as they say it is or shall i just use plain old cider vinegar? i was also wandering roughly how much i would need to add to 30l of water?

We've got some tripods, but find that the ball-valves break pretty quickly. We've had to replace 2 already and we haven't had them a year yet.

We've also got some galvanised buckets which are great. They look like a normal bucket with a funny lid. They lie on their sides and are very easy to fill. Not too sure how much they hold though.
They're great for the Turkeys, Geese and Ducks too.

Hi,

Font know how many birds you have or how they are housed etc. But it may be worth considering somthing like a 2.5 Litre auto-fill drinker and plumb it into the mains.

Thanks

You can't put vinegar in galvanised drinkers btw
