At what age do boars start to become less fertile ?
I know there are many threads on boar taint, but if we did send an old man for sausages would it be more  noticeable after he has bred.
We're not at this stage yet, just interested.
He is in with a sow at the moment who has had 4 litters, but she is'nt falling (he is active). Just wondered if it was him or her or both!

Our oldest boar is 10 and still going strong. We did have an enquiry from a man needing to replace a boar that had died at the grand old age of 16 and right up until the end he was a working productive boar.

How old was Charlie Chaplin when he had his last child? Wasn't it 70 something? 
So good to hear of older boars still doing well. The Bath & West has a class for veteran sows - in order to appreciate the fact that, even if they are a bit older, they can still be useful to the herd, and to encourage people to keep them on for longer. Maybe other shows have similar classes, but I've not noticed in the ones I've been to.
