Shearing in south west
« on: April 08, 2011, 08:47:42 pm »
My friend and her husband stay at mine in Somerset for a few weekends during the shearing season. He shears my small flock and has said he can shear for smallholder in the southwest.
If anyone is interested please contact me so that we can arrange times

Bumping up again as he still has a few spaces and that time is nearly upon us.

Remember he doesn't mind the wooliest of rare breeds.

We have a tiny flock of Greyface dartmoors (2 ewes and 3 lambs)  This heat will make them suffer.  Does your friend have any room?  We're in between Wellington and Honiton - Blackdown Hills.  What does he cost (apart from tea/soft drinks/homemade cider which would come as standard)?

Hi, we'd certainly be interested - 6 suffolks in East Devon near Honiton - how much would he charge?

Will your friend be passing Gloucester at all, 2 minutes from j12, M5. It's only for 2 sheep though.
