My friend and her husband stay at mine in Somerset for a few weekends during the shearing season. He shears my small flock and has said he can shear for smallholder in the southwest.
If anyone is interested please contact me so that we can arrange times

bumping this up as he is getting a few enquiries and he is trying to work out the best times to come over
-
Bumping up again as he still has a few spaces and that time is nearly upon us.
Remember he doesn't mind the wooliest of rare breeds.

We have a tiny flock of Greyface dartmoors (2 ewes and 3 lambs) This heat will make them suffer. Does your friend have any room? We're in between Wellington and Honiton - Blackdown Hills. What does he cost (apart from tea/soft drinks/homemade cider which would come as standard)?
-
I've pm'd you with details and last year when it was hot he appreciated cold homemade lemonade
-
Hi, we'd certainly be interested - 6 suffolks in East Devon near Honiton - how much would he charge?
-
sheepnewbies I have PM'd you the costs just shout if your interested as we are working out the best time for them to visit
-
Just had a few queries about electricity being needed the answer is no he has his own power. Spaces are getting booked very quickly now if you want a slot please PM me ASAP as he is only over for a couple of weekends to help me and a few smallholders out.

Thanks Karen. I shall give them a ring on the morning.
Strangely the phone number is only a couple of digits off my grandads, must be from north Sheffield.
