Not really a "small holder", accidental or otherwise, but grow some fruit and bought some 2 week old chicks 3 weeks ago.
Lurked for years, but thought I'd finaly join

Hello, and welcome.

We like it a lot when long time lurkers register, and you're well on your way to being classed as a smallholder if you grow stuff and have hens!

Hi DominicJ, if you only grow a few things in a window box and have a couple of  :chook: in a backyard you're a smallholder, it's not the size but what you do with it ( so I'm told)

Hello and welcome!

Not too far from us, we are Derbyshire border - maybe 16 miles from Manchester.

Well, Greater Manchester rather than actual Manchester.

Alas, I dont think anyone with 1400 sq ft can really call themselves a small holder, but its exciting enough to live through you lot.

Hiya & welcome from West Scotland

If you're "growing & caring" you're a smallholder - maybe a microholder   ;) but you're doing it   ;D
