Onions, Garlic, Leeks & ... beans?
« on: April 04, 2011, 10:46:38 am »
Just found 4 little Broad Bean sproutlings that somehow survived the meeces attack from the direct sow I trialed last month.

Only probs is that they're in the same bed as the onions etc & my OH said they shouldn't be - remembers reading something, but not sure where  ::

Why ...?  Should I move them while they are still small enough  ???

They will get so big I can't imagine the onions doing well next to them. Not sure 100% about companion planting but onions do well with carrots, not legumes of any kind . I would move while small enough. :&>
