My Irish Setter, Amber, gets herself shocked every day, she loves the pigs & has to come over with me every evening - the fence has been up for months & she's quite capable of jumping over it (very low for Kunes  ;) ) would have thought she'd learnt by now  ???

BUT she did get a kick off the farmers fence next door a month ago when chasing a pheasant & she's not gone near that one since  - higher voltage for cattle I guess  :o

It's not just mine then - I can't understand why the sheep and the chickens quickly learned to avoid the electric fence but the Jess the 'intelligent' german sheperd dog just doesn't get it.

You'd think that after the first dozen or so times she went yowling into the house with her tail between her legs she'd remember to keep her nose off - but no.

 :)
