No wonder Jimmy's not giving the details of the financial backers - their shares would crash overnight  :D :D :D

I'm guessing the backers are the TV company...

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Being fromt' North... i'm glad Jayne & Ray won but what a poor ending for the programme... no inffo as to the next step...poss followup.. kiss my bum nor nowt......... when did or does their year start? are they part way thro now.. it would have been nice to have had a minute at the end with an update.

Really glad they won in the end, did feel sorry for other couple but sure they'll go on to do something with animals maybe get a smallholding. Hopefully Ray and Jayne will get plenty of support during this year with farm planning and marketing. Good luck to them both and look forward to the followup  :farmer:

I know both of the people who did the shepherding tasks in programme three very well, particularly Bob with the beard. As I understand it they have kept in touch with the winners. Next time I speak to Bob, I will ask him for an update.

If there was to be one semi corporate establishment left to rest in peace in this world I would choose the BBC imo.

As a first time poster secretcontestant I would ask you for some kind of- well quantifiable credentials other than a knock to the 'back of the head' be it ours, the winners or contest as a whole?
