The Dog & Duck
« on: March 11, 2011, 12:14:53 am »
When we first got our Aylesburys they were tiny  :&>

They lived in a corner of my workshop for the first few months, dry and warm. Everynight I would check on them and Zadie (German Shepard) would stick her head over and give them a lick wheter they wanted it or not. When it was time to head for their new home at the bottom of the garden; they could share the garden with the dog  :o :o :-\

Well the result is Puddle (our Drake) hasnt forgotton those first kisses goodnight as a little one  :dog: :&>  ;D ;D

oh thats so lovely, Zadie is just laid back (and gorgeous!)

.... wish our GSD was as calm as that, she'd only lick the ducks to ge a taste of them before chasing & eating them!
mind you, she did used to to lick the pigs' noses through the fence of their old house!

Thanks for the lovely comments glad you enjoyed it. They say that in your life you get one special dog, Zadie is without doubt that one.

I know only too well how terrible it is when you loose them, i know it seems a bit silly considering it now  :-\ but I feel maybe I have set myself up for a very, very big fall in the future.

I make the most of everyday with her, she is a very special girl indeed  ;D

Better to have loved and lost than never loved at all, enjoy every min of every day as you never know when times up, look at those in Japan, so many lost!
