Dear all,
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on the problem one of my khaki campbell ducks is having with her eggs. Some mornings when I collect the eggs one of them will be broken. I know which duck it is and have been feeding them suplements to help with any deficiencies they may have - seaweed which I have put in their food and poultry Liquid tonic in their water. (They have a constant supply of crushed marine shell by the way.)
On occasions the duck in question has had problems actually laying the eggs and has been a bit distressed. My other two ducks are fine and lay eggs with good strong shells. But the one duck lays eggs with a thin shell, one time it was just like a squidgy sack containing the egg. Every egg now seems to have a ridge around the centre which probably explains why she has a job laying.

Any advice is welcome as there doesn't seem to be any improvement since I have been feeding the supplements.
