This week has been beautiful for us in the Cambridgeshire fens. We've had gorgeous sunshine - nearly made the rotavating a pleasure! There's a definite air of spring about with the days feeling much longer again now. I'm starting to begrudge every minute I have to spend indoors.  8)

We have had snow on and off all week but nowt to cry about.....However woke up to a thick blanket  of the white stuff today :o.. now 6 inches deep, the blizzard has never stopped the joys of living so high up I suppose......The plus side being ney visitors can get up the glen road so less work lol.

Snowing on and off during the day but not laying. Very chilly north wind. Saw the pigs for about half an hour - I reckon they've gone into hibernation. Hens aren't much better.

Had a couple of nights with heavy frosts and frozen water troughs in the morning, but the glorious sunny afternoons make up for it. Had the cool air vents open in the van today for the first time this year - it was almost warm!
