That's priceless! Never work with children and animals, eh?

Haven't had a visit ourselves - presumably they write and tell you when they're coming?

Useful info on the feed storage. I store our chicken and piggie food in plastic bins. They're kept in the same barn but have lids on. I'll move them to separate sides of the barn at the weekend.

When he came to see us, he wasn't bothered about the chicken feed - just dog and cat food as it contains animal products. The chicken feed is vegetarian so wasn't a problem.

Thats what I thought about ours, had all the dog and cat food in the caravan and the sheep food in the feed room. But many big name makes of chicken pellets do have fish oil in them for the chickens bones and hence are NOT vegetarian altho Im sure yours might be totally veggie.

Lisa, that's funny ..... strikes me she's hormonal, thats how the boys will check for females being in-season.
made me remember when we first put Murphy the boar in with the gilt pigs - poor fella must have tasted gallons of the stuff before he had his wicked way!!   ::D

well it did apart from my goats being quite innapropriate. Reggie had a wee and savannah stuck her head under his belly, came out licking her lips. EWWWWWWWWWW!! they've never done that before in front of me, why save it for today?! I was gobsmacked and all I could say was "Oh..." - she found it funny though  ::)

our stallion, while being vet checked for his license, stood on the vets foot, but shot his love potion on the floor!   ;D ;D ;D

we had lady come to check sheep tags and numbers and books last year, but diff department is coming back to check feed storage, which isnt the same department that gave me written permission to store ruminant, and non-ruminant feeds!

we got a letter this week bout tb testing, havnt quite deciphered it into english yet!
