They cr*p in holes in the ground. Rule Britannia!

Actually there are VERY few of those public toilets left in France, have only come across one - about 6 years ago. It was clean, flushed and worked as it should.

There are good and bad people all over the world. Race makes no difference. Shame on you.  :-[

- - -

And back on topic - don't know the the couple getting married so why would I be even slightly interested.

Rule Britannia!

Sorry Rosemary, that song is outdated now - we dont "Rule the Waves" anymore, not since we sold off our only aircraft carrier anyway...

wish everyone would get of their case, they bring a lot of money into this country via tourism

Which country, exactly?

As a Scot, and a Jacobite, I can't stand any of them. I'm not cut out to be a subject. ::)

I will be doing something nice, like catching up on some jobs about the place when no-one else is looking for me. ;D

Well, I will be enjoying the wedding, because with all the bank holiday, I have taken just 3 days holiday, and will be having 11 days off work. Which is at a busy time of year so really handy. Might also go for a night at a place we might have our wedding at.

By the way Lillian- I wish bankers got the big bonuses everyone goes on about. I can assure you it is not the case.

yes beth we do understand that the bonuses don't filter down to the bank workers at the start of the crisis we were friendly with a bank worker with many years service who was desperate to leave (she had taken shares and invested in shares every year) worth a good bit of money when the price was high  but worth nothing the last time we saw her

Thanks for this, tuggers. Reading your comment made me realise how ridiculous my comment about the French was. Oh La La, I am ashamed.

My word there seems to be some bitter, twisted jealous people out there. None of the Royal family can help that they were born into it! Why is it when our royals go aboard so many people turn out to see them, how often have i heard foreigners say they wish they had a royal family. You all whinge and moan on about Britain not being Great anymore but your the same whinging bar stewards who've made it that way ::). Everyones responsible for voting or not in the ridiculous overspending last lot of govt's we've had, they're the ones that have killed Great Britain putting all our eggs in the financial sector and getting S**t on by the banks, they're ones who've not backed manufacturing, blame their soppy careers teachers for not encouraging kids into vocational studies and instead telling them a good job is sitting on a checkout in tescos' but don't blame the Royal family. Its nice for once to have something to look forward to and I for one will be celebrating.
Rant over (bad morning this morning really p***d off with people whinging, if its not life threatening it ain't worth bothering about)
Mandy ;D (i am determined to be smiley all day just to annoy people)

I shall be at work like every Bank Holiday.
On the subject of the Royal family, I deeply regret that Charlie and the Gentle Locheil turned back and didn't go the last hundred miles from Derby. Then you would all be wearing Kilts and speaking Gaelic ;) ;) ;)
