My Introduction
« on: February 19, 2011, 08:30:48 pm »
Some people might have seen me floating about on here already, only just getting to grips with the board and all the different sections.

Im in North Essex, near the Suffolk border and I'm starting my own smallholding, I've done a 3 year course in farming and have worked on some farms but theres still so much I don't know, people have already been helpful so no doubt I will be on here a lot.  Hopefully I can help other people from time to time using my experiences in farming.

Welcome and good luck with your new venture.  Sometimes its very hard when your overdraft is overdrawn, you are up to your knees in mud and the pig comes up behind you and knocks your hard found eggs out of your hand and with a grin as big as a cheddar cheese eats the lot as you struggle to keep your feet.  But its all part of smallholding.   :D :D Enjoy
