He did learn his lesson with the horse I asked him not to bang on the fence after 6pm as the horse was in the stable at the other side and the sound was amplified so the horse would kick the side of the stable. He ignored me and nearly had kitten when a hoof came through and just missed him. I made him fix the shelter as I had a few witnesses when I asked him and when Blue kicked through so he didn't argue. I think that may have annoyed him

RUSTYME  you could sell  your services on here, I love your attitude. I remember my now husband working with street homeless and there was one very large man with moderate learning difficulties, I rang as I was having issues with my divorce as my ex was making things hard and as this man heard my new hubby on the phone to me, he said "don't worry, I'll sort him, where does he live?" needless to say we did not tell him but sometimes you could do with a hard nut around!!! ;)

lol... £250 for broken legs £200 for arms , thats per pair , £100 for a jaw £50 per cheek bone , £15 per rib , teeth are free , I keep them as souvenirs !!! ( someones tooth popped out of my right hand after it had been there for a couple of years, once  ::) ;D ;D)
If the job is a big nasty bugger , I may do it for free !!!! the big ones are just more satisfying  8) , but I would appreciate it if the customer could supply a nice new pick axe handle for me to use .
 Think that covers most things ... ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

cheers

Russ

ps; don't take it serious folks !!! ( apart from the tooth in the hand bit , and the prices and the new pa handle !!!)

oh the joy.
complain about the trees just so he gets a visit.
complain about his fence.
complain that you have seen rats in his garden. well one big one.
now if he was banging on the fence to cause injury to your horse or you after requesting him not to there must be a complant there rspca/police.
he has been spying on you as a lady you should be concerned and lodge a complaint about his peeping tom behaviour.
if his building is out with planning and he is a real pain then make a complant. at best he will have to get retro planning.

don't let him do the bullying. and don't give up what your dreams are.
and if none of them work a few tons fresh muck dumped on his front garden will annoy him.
by the sounds of it he has annoyed your neighbour as well.

Personally I'd never resort to violence unless in self defence - its completely pointless and most the time will not solve any problem only breed more contempt and further your original problems.

Its hard I admit not to go over the top though in these situations as its very frustrating, I know.

I have a neighbour who comes here for holidays, he bought part of the farm when it was split as the ex owner slowly went bankrupt.  I have had a few run-ins with him verbally - normally when its the evening and I'm having a beer  ;) I tend to be very noisy - partly why I moved to the middle of nowhere (I've always had noise complaints and council bans of owning electrical amplification equipment).  The last was a complaint here was about having a radio on while building my patio at 5pm, only a tin pot roberts radio too - he stated that he was here for the quiet and didnt want my noise invading his space.  After a big argument I decided to move the radio, turn it down, and start cleaning the sheds out with the mini digger till 10 at night.

I told him that I lived here and worked every day and found that the radio helped to pass the time and the comedy show on radio two was something I enjoyed listening too and laughing out loud at, if he didnt like it - goto an oldies holiday camp!!

We have a campsite on our back fields and one day a punter told my misses not to ride the quad to feed the horses at 8pm cos of the noise - yes they had a kid that was trying to sleep - but wtf it is advertised as a campsite and working farm, did he really expect there to be no work going on past the 5.30 he normally quits at?

I had a call from the council in my last terrace house before we got here about the noise of the toilet flushing!!  When the police came round I told them that I loved staying up all night flushing the toilet to keep him awake - I dont think he understood satire, but did apologise for having to answer such a ludicrous claim.

My advice is carry on as normal and ignore him, I know its hard, but as long as you dont go and break his legs, eventually the law will be on your side when he finally oversteps the mark and then you can go after him.

different strokes for different folks ... more than one way to skin a cat ....blah blah blah ...
Been nicked loads of times .. never once convicted or even prosecuted ... just a nice cup of tea and a biccy with plod whilst have having a chat, and then off home .... am I bovvered nah !!!!  ::) ;D ;D but I am 53 now , and those days are gone (but if I have to , I can do a Frank Sinatra comeback , mind you , he ain't done one lately  :o ;D ;D ).
On the whole , you wouldn't know I lived next to you though . I don't cause trouble , I only speak when spoken to , I don't interfere with what others are doing and I don't do things that will annoy others , like play loud music !!!! :D , I don't drink ,I don't smoke and I don't do drugs . I even walk away from arguments , rather than kick off , but when push comes to shove ....well in the words of Rambo.." don't push me " you won't like the response !!

cheers

He gets fed.

Sorry, off topic. This really shocks me - I think I must live in Disneyworld (thank goodness) as we've always had great neighbours. I do so feel for anyone who has difficult neighbours - it must be really debilitating.

I hear where you are coming from Russ, sometimes the only solution is your solution - I'd just need someone like you to do it as my haymakers can be seen for miles before they collide. I've never been a fighter - partly because I cant :)

I agree with you Rosemary, it must (or can be) demoralising living next door to someone who you consider to be complaining about something you see as just normal everyday life. Your very lucky to be either very quiet and nice or not had to live next door to a noise/space nazi.

well rosemary some people are tolerant of others stock and the remainder not so  but you have got your boys to send round??
nothing wrong with disneyworld or rose tinted glasses it is when the cold reality of what others are capable of that shocks and alarams to the point of giving in     give them enough rope and they will hang themselves then you can get your own back
PS  you better get some more fencing for Dan just to keep him from reading the posts

you are going to have to say something, to some one, get this man put back in his place, you may not wnat to stand up to him but i think you will have to,

something about bullies, stand up to them and they back down they dont like to be faced, and belittled.

he will just keep going if he thinks he is getting away with it,

"girl power sorted the washing machine out, girl power has given 2 new lambs a life,"

"GIRL POWER CAN SORT YA MAN OUT"  go get him girl  :bouquet:
