« on: February 15, 2011, 03:21:52 pm »
Now that we are finally getting around to sorting outside out I need to try and establish our soft fruit patch.
Anyone who has the following avilable would really help us:
Raspberries
Blackberries
Redcurrents
Blackcurrents
Gooseberries
Tayberries
and of course strawberries!!!
Will be looking for hanging veg plants later in season to make hanging baskets productive!
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
we are based near okehampton and happy to pay delivery costs if too far to collect

What about your local yellow pages...? Try under nurseries (plants not kids)
You will need varieties that like the aspect and climate and on the edge of Dartmoor there you could be quite high and exposed!
A good place for apples and soft fruits etc is Adams Apples http://www.talatonplants.co.uk I get all my bushes and trees there as they know exactly what grows in Devon
