Having bought my fruit trees at Aldi this morning (good selection and nice looking stock), I popped into Focus for some compost. They are having a "20% off everything for your garden" sale - it started on Monday and ends today. They are also doing a 6ft x 6ft greenhouse for £169 on special offer, if you buy it today that's only £135. I'm going to try and not go back there now

I do so love a bargain!! Always spending money on stuff I don't need!

You'll always find a good use for a greenhouse though. Don't put it where it catches the wind or you'll be constantly spending money on replacement glass - trust me, I know

I already have an 8' x 6' one with many sheets of polycarbonate! So I really don't NEED one but I'm still tempted at that price.

But thanks for encouraging me to spend money and giving me legitimate reasons to buy!

I know what you mean about bargains - I was in Perth the other day on my way home from Glasgow and decided as I'd caught an hour earlier train back than expected, I'd nip into Homebase for a loo seat.. Came out with that plus they had fruit bushes 2 for a fiver so I now have a loganberry and another gooseberry, plus about 7 packets of veg seed bought without checking what I had, so I now have about 3 lots of broccoli   Still, I do like broccoli

If I had seen the greenhouse I'd probably have bought one of those aswell to grow all these extra seeds in

Funny enough i was in Aldi at Perth yesterday.................9 fruit bushes for around £8 the lot!.I did notice the trees but restrained myself for this moment in time!!

i got bargain raspberry canes and gooseberry bushes from lidl last year, small but bout 80p each so cant complain, just hope theyv survived the winter!!
