hello wilf calling from Orpington

Hi everyone

I have been reading on the site for the last few weeks and now logged in.  Great!

New to this and the wife and I have cleared the rear of our garden and now prepping the ground for next spring.

I cant believe how hard work it is and how unfit Ive become.

But we love it and the thought of feeding the family with our own efforts gives us a joyus feeling.

However,we are going need a load of advice and we think we are in safe hands here by the quality blogs that have been posted.

Hello to everyone.

Hi and welcome.  Digging is very hard, the resulting veggies are well worth it.  HM

I'm hoping to put in raised beds so no digging required
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Hello, all that digging is much better and cheaper than joining a gym!!! The veg will taste better and you will feel much healthier and satified but watch your backs!!!! I have no veg as my garden is a bit shady but I keep a some chickens and do grow a few herbs and also cultervate millions of snails and BIG slugs without any effort!!

Enjoy your outdoors free gym, Sandy
