We have a dusting this morning and it's a bit nippy.  More snow due here on Thurs - allegedly  ::)

Someone told me to expect snow in early/mid Feb but so far so good, staying dry cold and frosty is good for me with the fields overstocked and post-flood/thaw they're boggy otherwise :)

Very cold again tho :o

Was supposed to be frosty here today - but quite mild and damp. snow forecast for Thursday though.  Glad I've got my wood(multifuel)burner installed

Very Hard Frost here this morning hardest wev'e had this time - all the water buckets frozen, they haven't really unfrozen for the last few days - so have to keep going out and breaking the ice.

not sure of but think it was -10,to cap it all the oil boiler didn't fire up this morning so felt like -20, the feed pipe had frozen and not enough oil getting through. (Did we really used to live like this, no central heating in the bathroom ::) ::) ::))

OH trying to get the EX roof felt and battened before the rain and wind tomorrow.

Think the north is expecting snow Thursday - wet and windy in the South.

Cold and windy here, but dry and not freezing. Hope it stays this way - but with less wind, which is making it bitterly cold.

Well according to the met office weather forecast no snow unless you are on high ground or in the Scottish hills - am I missing something? I don't think there is any ground for panic just now?

No grounds for panic, but we normally get the harshest of our winter in February/March.....so we're getting ready for round two!!

I know Lillian. They were running a special offer on winter tyres, so I ordered four. Unfortunately, the day of the fitting appointment coincided with the big snowfall we had here, and by the time I dug the car out two days later, they had accidentally sold 'my' tyres to somebody else, before running out of stock throughout the whole country!

They've been giving me the run around ever since then, so I shan't be darkening their doors again. Just very glad we had the Landy as well, or we'd have been snowed in for a fortnight!!
