Can you demonstrate drop spinning to my students?
« on: January 17, 2011, 07:40:12 pm »
Hi
I'm new here and I am a teacher, needing someone to come and demonstrate how wool is made into cloth - preferably through the different stages, to my foreign student class of 12 from all over the world.  We are studying the Anglo-Saxon way of life and I would so love to have someone to come and talk to them.

I would so appreciate this.  We are in Cambridgeshire.

I could but I live in Scotland  :)  Try approaching the Cambridge Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers - they are certain to have someone who is good at demos.
