hello from Vermont!
« on: March 06, 2025, 08:22:09 pm »
just getting started in sheep farming the hard way -- in talks with an older couple about buying their land to start our own farm. while they sort out easements and subdivision and etc, we are renting the mobile home they own on the adjacent property and caring for their flock of North County Cheviots. they bought the flock in 2008 and have been very hands off and certified organic. the sheep are pretty feral and have some health issues we're trying to resolve. I've found myself reading this website and forum so many times I figured it's time to join and make some posts!
