Wanna be a steward at the Scottish Smallholder Festival?
« on: September 27, 2024, 03:26:11 pm »
It's the  Scottish Smallholder Festival on Saturday 19th October at the Royal Highland Centre. I'm short of two room stewards - morning shifts so 9.15 to 12.30, one in the Cookery Theatre and one in Room 3, so the Starting with... Alpacas, Goats and Sheep talks. Free ticket, lunch voucher and free parking. Rest of the day at leisure. Any TAS Forum members up for it?
Cheers,Rosemary

Just to add, the free parking is through Gate 6 at the bottom of the road before 8.45 am - if you go up to the main turnstiles you have to pay £10 but you can claim it back from me (Treasurer) on an expenses claim form before you leave the show

Just to add, if you come in Gate 6, you're in until 4pm earliest.

If you guys we're nearer. I'd have offered to do the 1 in the animal section.

There are a few "vacancies" but mine is a venue steward, so supervising one of the speaker venues - getting the audiences in and out whe speakers change, headcount, introducing the speaker, acting as time keeper. 9.15-12.30
