Most favourite Month of the year
« on: December 31, 2010, 10:45:31 am »
Do you prefer Winter when you can hibernate, or Spring when the sap is rising, or maybe summer and long lazy days, or Autumn when nature is putting everything to bed?   But which month specifically?
Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again !!

I just love May, when everything is just beginning to burst forth, the sap is rising, the lambs are springing, and there is so much mystery around everything that nature produces.....and I love to see my seedlings appearing in the polytunnel  ;D

I voted for July.  I am a hot house plant.  Less winds and more warmth in July
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Love April - fresh smell of new grass - the beautiful shades of new green leaves -sunlight filtering through the trees - seeing fern fronds beginning to unfurl - the sound of bird song as days get longer and warmer (hopefully) - love to see lambs jumping on and off mums back :sheep: :sheep:
But every month brings it's own enjoyment ;D ;D

januarys good, loads of ideas and plans for the year ahead. and a sense of satisfaction for what we achieved last year. plenty of early nites and warm fires.
half way through the year, exhaustion kicks in, late nights outside working, weeds getting outa control, jobs taking longer than planned, arrggghhh
 ;D ;D ;D
