Hi all, Newbie to the forum but not to life, bit long in the tooth now keep chickens and piggies in what used to be our back garden, looking forward to joining in the forums. :pig:

Thank you, hope you are  comfortable up there and managing to get about or at the least keep warm, lovely part of the country you live in, I had the pleasure of working there a while ago, in the winter too.

Welcome to the forum from a cold and snowy Carmarthen.

I'm on the wrong side of young  as well;) ;)  even past middle age,  if I'm honest I'm well into my retirement  ;D ;D but you are never to old to learn or enjoy being with animals, there's plenty on this forum who will help with advice when you have a problem...

I now have the time to enjoy my sheep and chickens - I think :-\ even in this weather with frozen drinkers - hens not laying and don't want to come out in the 'white stuff'.  Carrying out hay to the sheep - my fingers and toes are frozen  and my nose gets icicles on it - but I love it. 
You are never to old to learn something new
