Brilliant!

We'll put a link to the "Friends" site and to the Palacerigg page as well.

Maybe we should have a TAS meet there in the summer, donations to the Park?

Phew!  Just got back.  We are all so pleased we can hardly stop grinning  ;D ;D ;D

Thank you so much for coming to the council meeting to 'Palacerigg', Ruth Dalton from RBST, Stuart and of course to our own Happy Hippy who has done so much to spread the word.  We got a group pic - and our knuckles rapped for using a camera in the council offices - will get it on here as soon as I can.

Where's the champagne icon?    :yum:

Good idea to have a TAS meeting at Palacerigg

A very happy fleecewife  :) :) :)

So here are the Famous Five , flushed with victory.

Thank you all again for your contributions, signing the petition, and all the general support and interest.  Please stay onboard though for Friends of Palacerigg Rare Breeds which will carry on with support and help for this wonderful collection of important animals.

I think the idea of meeting up at Palacerigg is a wonderful suggestion.
I'll be there  ;)

Fleecewife - hope you didn't get lost on the way home after dropping me off ?
Here's your champers to say thanks  ;) ]
Oooo I don't like photo's of me (and Ruth said afterwards, she bet she was mid-blink!)
It was great to meet everyone and hopefully form links and friendships that will last a long time and be of benefit to everyone. I've always said that I'm not into the politics of pig keeping, I just like pigs.............after today it's a sentiment I stand by ::)  ;D ;D ;D

Ooh thanks for the champers Karen - I needed that.  Er yes I did get a bit lost on the way home....... ::)  Never mind I'm here now with a roaring wood fire  :)

Let's blame the helpful wee man who took it for the quality of the photo - it wasn't one of us  ;D  (I always look a bit dodgy in photos so I'm used to it - of course I don't really look like that  ;).

I hope you all enjoy a nice quiet evening to relax then we can gear up to be Friends of Palacerigg Rare Breeds.  It would be useful to have a list of all of you who want to come on board, please
