It is not theft by finding - the police have been notified .

If someone is prowling around with a set of ladders, you must take steps to stop them. ;D

a boy from the village had come up to ours and opened the gates, let our chickens out then ecaped down hill on my daughters scooter,  :o   which we found later dumped in village. later that week, i found a ten pack spanners in our field, dont know whos they were but theyl come in handy   ::)

we've been given a free pair of gloves this week!!
found them in our  letter box the other day, nice black fleecy ones.

Probably dropped outside the gate, and some helpful (nosey!) person decided they must be ours...  thnaks very much!  ;)

Did a double take because at college many years ago "spanners" was the code word for durex

oh god! we had condoms on our drive this year too! found them while planting snowdrops, rather close to bottle of cheap cider - how pleasant! spanners were b&q kind but looked new so quite chuffed!

we found an old machete once. that was quite erm, interesting!

LOL at the spanner codename for condoms - my husbands nickname at school was spanner (rhymed with his surname, tanner) but he'll love it when I tell him this one  ;D
