Is it too late to lift and split rhubarb?

As per the title. It's sprouting, if that makes a difference. :eyelashes:

I think if the sprouting bits are just red nobbles then that's ok, but if you've got actual stalks and leaves then it would be best left until it's dormant next winter.


(ps due to the weirdness of typing v handwriting, I spelt 'stalks' as 'storks' - now that would be interesting in the rhubarb patch  :roflanim: )
