Hi All,

I’d like to offer a small bespoke local butchery service for members in the Angus area (I’m based just outside Brechin). Primarily for lambs/hogget/venison, but I am also able to process pork carcasses if needed (they need to be on the smaller scale though). I have a small butchery unit approved by EHO, as well as all required Hygiene Certificates, HACCP, Insurance, and also DSC1 which allows me to process deer and wild game. I have experience in butchering my own stock, and also deer and furred game, and can offer a tailored service that includes butchery to your individual requirements, packaging, and also sausage and burger making if required. Freezer facilities are also available on-site. I am not a large establishment, so can’t handle carcasses in any number. What I have in mind is anyone who has the odd beast slaughtered but lacks the ability/time to butcher it themselves, and would like it butchered to their own preferences. I am also prepared to offer basic butchery and sausage making courses for small numbers. I don’t process feathered game or poultry, due to time constraints.
