Wanted - small tractor
« on: July 08, 2021, 11:28:47 am »
We are looking to buy a small tractor/compact - primarily for topping and the other small jobs.

Thought we would post here incase anyone has one they are looking to get rid of.

Many thanks

Andy

Andy, if you get offered two, please point the second one in my direction ;)

Also... we need to know where you are.  (I am in North Cornwall).

Cheers Sally! We are Shropshire, but I get the feeling finding decent smaller tractors is a bit like hens teeth.

You never know though right!?

We found that getting an older full size tractor was a lot cheaper than getting a small tractor.  We ended up with a Ford 6640.  Neighbour is on his 5th small tractor as they have all been done up to look good but fail under work.

I agree with Buttermilk.
We've just bought an MF 135 for £2,500. More than 50 years old but still starts first time, runs like a sewing machine and everything works.
