We have a fairly tenacious Bluebell hen (constantly leaves the run to explore before taking herself back) but today she started visiting our two Toulouse geese (goose and gander) and seems to be bossing them around...
There don't seem to be any bad feelings between them, if anything the geese seem a bit unsure of her 
Does anyone else have chickens that have gone rogue?

I have noticed that aggressive hens make very good protective mothers.

I had one that was so bad - was pecking others and made them bleed. I literally told her - if you keep doing this I'm gonna eat you!
And ehat did she do? The very next day went broody 

I gave her duck eggs - hatched and raised them very well.

Last year I had a Bluebell hen that went broody and was sitting for 4 weeks untill I took her off - I wasn't expecting a hybrid hen to sit for so long. If I knew I would have given her some good eggs

Hello HH and welcome back     We have some hen herding geese if that's any help    and a hen who is currently laying her eggs in a goose nest

I have a cockerel who lives with a flock of geese and is definitely boss of all.
He creeps up behind them when they're not looking and nips a few feathers from their bums

I forgot to mention Feisty the hen who is best pals with Gentian the sheep - they sunbathe together with Feisty on Gentian's back.
