Straw in your boots
« on: March 08, 2021, 04:35:48 pm »
I usually wear wellingtons outside and I frequently get straw, hay and sometimes other debris in them. This sticks to my socks and it’s a bit of a palaver taking them off and ensuring I’m not bringing the contents into the house. Apart from pulling my trousers or overalls over the boots, which is not always appropriate if it’s very muddy, are there any other solutions?

Overtrousers which you take on and off with the boots :)

i wear over trousers most of winter for this very reason ..... as weather warms in spring and I start to not put them on .... I remeber why I've been wearing them!

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.
