Getting used to having no goats but what do I do with all my fruit tree prunings now?  :roflanim:

They (allegedly) produce some interesting dye colours, I think pinky.

You could root the cuttings and go into business selling fruit trees  :tree: :apple: :tree: :cherry: :tree: :pear: :tree:

You could chip them for mulch

You could weave a hedgehog shelter

Erm..... ;D

Same boat here, except it’s rasp canes, cabbage and cauliflower greens.  I begrudge the composter them after so many years of being goaty treats

I like the idea of swapping for  :goat: cuddles

Get yourself a pet rabbit instead. I tried fattening rabbits (meat rabbits however) on just brambles and it worked!
They also est cabbage bits and apple tree prunnings
Growing loads of fruits and vegetables! Raising dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits on 1/2 acre in the middle of the city of Leicester, using permaculture methods.

Some brilliant ideas. I think I'll give growing fruit trees a miss. I'm supposed to be cutting back on what I do, not finding another job. Hedgehog shelters? Good idea - I will try it if my hands will allow it. I think SD has probably had the most feasible idea. I'll put something on the Goaty Friends Facebook group. And hope
that someone on here who is near would like some.
