Another Sheep Poo Photo
« on: June 08, 2020, 07:09:00 am »
Have been reading the recent poo thread & thought I’d share a photo from one off mine - is this tapeworm also? I’m guessing whole & not a small segment which you see often......

Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Thanks for sharing that with us. :excited:  it's certainly unusual to see a whole length at one time. Have you just wormed the sheep with a white wormer, eg panacur? That type kills the tapeworms, so wondering if it's a dead one that's been expelled.

I found a similar one a few years ago, maybe a week after worming the lambs!

Four month old lamb prior to any wormer - a dose of Benizmole was administered shortly after.
