Has our forum been hacked/ infiltrated??

I cant find any other topic-line on thi,s but i have noticed some very weird posts...they look as is the forum has been hacked by an automated system.  Have reported to mods! i hope this is not going to upset a genuine member??????

It happens daily. We usually catch it before anyone else sees it, but sometimes we're asleep.  :)

If you see anything that looks dodgy, it probably is, and please, please report it - it really helps keep the forums clean from spam.

ok thanks, you obviously do a great job Dan, cos this is the first time I have noticed spam etc!! Keep up the good work and we will support by being vigilant (sp?) too.

I sometimes find masses of the stuff when I'm having a sleepless night (happens quite a lot unfortunately), around 3 or 4 in the morning seems to be prime time for spam invasions.  Dan, you do a good job of getting rid of it all before the site gets busy.
