Quail issues

Opinions please, I have ended up with a male and female quail from a problem filled hatching. Both are healthy, but I've had to separate short term as the female was getting bald from his ummm attentions. There are no females for sale anywhere near me. A friend has suggested stop and grow the nasty tasting nail biting treatment on her neck. Thoughts please??

Hatch more eggs?

I thought I had 2 males and a female but I'm now getting 2 eggs a day so it must be the other way round.  In the meantime i had been offered four other females which I'll get in a couple of weeks time.  My boy should be very happy then.

Where are you?  I'm in Central Scoltand
