Moving my Pigs

I had the great idea of getting 2 piglets in my back garden to raise for meat now the time has come we are concerned about getting them to the abattoir we have a van but really not confident about getting them in it does anyone know if there are company's that help with this sort of thing as cant see any online?
we live in Northamptonshire and need to get them to Warwickshire about 40 miles?

It is not acceptable to take finished pigs to the abattoir in a van. Even if you could get them in!


There are haulage companies moving stock around the country. Tend to be wagons. Have you got access for transport?


Can you go back to the people you bought the pigs from?


Have you organised the butchering?

An abbatoir will only accept animals transported in accordance with DEFRA guideance. Please check this out.
