Great picture.  I got up but to naked eye it was hard to see the red.

Just after 5am. I'd actually forgotten about it and went out to unlock the barn. It was just starting to poke out between some clouds so I popped back in and grabbed my good camera. Not bad for a hand-held long zoom. (I have two blurry ones also). It might have been sharper but for thin wisps of cloud and the trees and if I'd leant against a wall or something.
.. Llanfyllin, Wales. Just lucky it was a just above the hill too

That's a better photo than all the ones shown on French TV this morning Pgkevet. Couldn't see a thing here with all the cloud, but it was very dark around 7.51am, which was when the early news said it would take place in France.

The blood moon part here was just a dirty splodge behind a cloud, but earlier the wolf moon part of it was spectacular.  So bright I could see things way off on the horizon, perfectly clearly.  Before that the super part wasn't bad either with a big fat moon peeking out above a cloud.
Great photo pgkevet  :trophy:
