I would recommend buying giant marrow seed from Medways of Anglessey, sowing about a month before you want to plant out ( or alternatively sowing earlier and keep indoors somewhere warm and light), planting out after the last frost in a well watered hole with lots of rotted manure in it. Mulch, water and feed regularly omce
the marrow sets. Allow only one marrow per plant, bury stems slightly so they root from nodes, raise marrow off ground as it grows on a tile or something to prevent rotting. Have more then 1 plant, just in case.
Good luck!
