NO NO NO!!!!

really feel like pulling all my short hair out!
had the girls pass their t.b. test as ye know, finally have found a billy owner who will gladly let molly
meet him.
day after having arranged this my wife reminds me that the jeep needs it m.o.t. done.
brought it in the following day, IT FAILED  >:( >:(.
it is an ol jeep but our only one so we are having the work done, 300-400 estimate price.
well there you go.
p.s. havent been on ere for long cos alot of things going on ere, one of them our landlords selling up  >:( >:(
plus got broken finger and thumb, happened when i was fishing, waiting for the jokes!!!!!!!!!!!
hope all is well with ye all ;)
p.s. can anyone tell me of a good tonic or something for goats, nothing really wrong just thought might do them good now and again, if this is only helpfull
on a poorly goat please let me know ;) :goat:

I reckon he had gone home and was  saying "The fish that got away was this big", flung his arms out to full stretch and hit one on a wall! ;D

sea fishing of a high tide, in a comp it was, we were fishing of the rocks as tide was well in and we pulled back up on the rocks for the
last time at 9.00p.m.
it was dark well dark by now, my father in law had head lamps that fisher men use, do you fish?
any way the one he gave to me, well more light come out of my backside than that thing he gave to me and the one he had well you know your self!
after chucking it back to him i got me rod in hand and tackle box in hand making me way up rocks for last hour of fishing well next thing
my leg goes down into a massive gap between rocksw i put me hands out as you do and next thing crack! yep i heared them go boy was it sore.
well i was there with rod on top of me and tackle every where my fathere in law laughing his head of with this great big beam of light coming from his head,
when i got up and said i broke me thumb and finger he said nagh dont be stupid >:( >:(
well i stayed on fishing and caught nothing.
so there you go thats how you break a finger and thumb while fishing :D

OUCH!!!!!   I have one of them head torches & as I was out checking the local river for crayfish it gave up & I ended up sat in three foot of really cold water

OW! sounds horrid.
keep your chin up mate, things'll get better (hopefully soon!)

will you have to move do you think?  or just have the rent upped?!

as for goat tonic, try Brewers yeast in their water now and again - full of Vit B and goood for shiny coats. Having said that,we bought it when Margo was so poorly .... ours hate it and would sooner go thirsty than drink it!   ::)

MIne get seaweed powder sprinkled on their sugarbeet - its wet so sticks to it and so gets eaten. Also now garlic powder again, I stoppped milking.

is it true that they cant have seaweed when pregnant?  my mate gave me some, it says on the tub " Do not give to pregnant horses" ... I assummed it applied to goats too?!

When I tried to buy it in the local merchant I asked them to phone and ask the company selling it, as why not in pregnancy (to horses and goats) - they didn't know. Can't really see the reason as to why not... mine got it all the way through their pregnancy last year - no problems and healthy kids. It is only a wee sprinkle on, once a day at lunchtime (when they get their sugarbeet).

i would have thought it would be full of iron & therefore good for pregnancy?!

I give my goats a little dried seaweed meal with their concentrate in the morning, and I fed it right through pregnancy to my mature GG doe this year, didn't get any problems and she had a beautiful set of triplets.
