There has to be an easier life
« on: December 07, 2007, 11:15:29 pm »
Hello Hello

Just found out about this forum by a very kind email sent to us from someone living in France.

We live in extremely wet Scotland, ::) doubly wet as we are so high up and we have our own mini climate.  We live in a fantastic place though with the best views.  We breed rare breed pigs, run pig courses and do lots of other piggy related things.  We have three ponies, one being a foal and one being a jet black show pony who is very posh and looks down her nose at everyone.   We also run a b&b so are very busy during the summer.  We live next door to a shooting lodge and house the shooter's loaders during the summer.  one of the shooters being no other than Eric Clapton who arrived by helicopter last summer.  So look forward to contributing to the forum.  Bye for now :)

Hi pigman

We're in sunny Scotland too, I think this morning is the first dry one we've had for weeks!

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to hearing more about what you're up to. Rosemary will most likely pick your brains about the b&b, she's got a notion to build and run one some day.

Hi Pigman,

We're new to all this as well and we're on Orkney where the weather is interesting, to say the least. Hope it's going well.

Welcome Pigman

Apologies for the delay, things have been hectic.

We are in the West of Scotland - can't remember when the last dry day was! Thought it was going to be today, until the bright sun became a downpour of hailstones!  ::)

Look forward to hearing all your news.

Dan - I used to run a B&B in Cornwall so she can pick my brains too if she likes.
