Hi all I live on a smallholding in Suffolk with my husband. He is (was) a retired farmer & I moved here eight years ago with my dogs & cats. I bought 10 then 20 Hebridean sheep to improve my collies training in herding a few years ago. Then I bought a tup, so now have our first crop of lambs.  (57 sheep now) Someone dumped some cockerels so we rescued four ex-bat hens as company for the survivor. We also have 7 dogs & 4 cats.

Hi!  Welcome to the site from north Wales.  Wouldn't mind betting the weather is better where you are than it is here right now (rain!!).

Your experience with sheep sounds similar to ours - we started off with a pet lamb from a local farmer around 6 years ago, found it a friend to keep it company, bought another four, hired a ram and low and behold - we now have 36!! (12 chickens, a cockerel, a dog, 2 cats and 2 goldfish).

Hello from Perthshire.  Suffolk is a lovely place, spent 2 weeks in summer enjoying the warmer climate! :)
