Down the lane from my field a guy lives in a converted coach.  The council told him "You don't have permission to live here, you'll have to move" The guy said "Sorry, no!" The council said,"Oh, alright then", sent him a council tax bill--end of story!
A couple of miles away, gypsies set up home on land owned by them (and good luck to them, I say) The council said etc. etc. The gypsies quoted the travellers laws, again end of story.
My argument is this!! Set up home and when told to move quote the travellers law. If told you are not a traveller and thus have no rights to live on your land then take your council to the race relations board......what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Bloody good luck!!!

Now that is the way to do it.........
