Now I know how the post office make their money
« on: June 06, 2012, 02:17:59 pm »
I have a PO credit card and needed to tell them that I have changed address.
They only give you an option of writing to do this. I sent them a letter with a first class stamp (thats all I had). They have now sent a letter back, TO THE NEW ADDRESS, asking for me to complete my new address on their form and return it to them. They haven't sent a prepaid envelope so I now hace to send another first class letter to them. Frustrated... YES  >:( >:(

They must be desperate for business... Make sure you tell them that - include a letter with the form, and suggest they could at least have the form for you to download on their website, to save time - and one stamp?

send it back without a stamp ,see if they pay the excess.
or hand it over a post office counter for their internal mail system.
