hi there - i am selling 2 of my female kids tomorrow - and i read that they have the same ear tags as sheep?? i have sheep tags and was planning to eid them with snaptag tags, that is ok isnt it?? or is it a choice thing - when googled it says eid became law is this true...

the eid is not as yet a legal requirement for goats.

they need both ears tagged with your herd number & an individual number ( eg, if they are your first kids, 1 and 2!)

the actual tags can be sheep tags, just check the colour eg red is just for replacement.
